Make your own adorable armadillo! The Pink Fairy Armadillo is the smallest armadillo in the world, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand! These tiny armored mammals live in the scrub lands and deserts of Argentina. They are rarely seen, so data on their population size and health is largely unknown, though they are threatened by farming activities and predation by domestic dogs and cats.

Pattern includes instructions to make your own Pink Fairy Armadillo. The 24 page pattern includes detailed step-by-step photos and clear written instructions to make an amigurumi-style Pink Fairy Armadillo. PLUS there is a 6 page printer-friendly TEXT ONLY version at the end of the pattern. This pattern has been fully tested by multiple testers. Includes yarn amounts and hook sizes to make a Pink Fairy Armadillo using Worsted weight yarn.

Recommended for INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCE SKILL LEVEL. This pattern uses basic crochet stitches and more complex stitches (detailed in the pattern glossary).

A finished Armadillo made using Worsted Weight yarn is approximately 6.5” long and 2.5” tall.
