This adorable fox hat is a fun and spunky addition to my daughter’s winter wardrobe. It’s actually just a simplified version of the Where the Wild Things Are Max Hat I created for Millie earlier this year. It’s a pretty fast knit-- just a few days to make. Based on the kids I’ve tried it on, it fits a baby, aged 6-18 months.

Materials needed are:
US Size 6 circs
US Size 6 dpns
1 skein worsted weight yarn (I used Ella Rae washable wool)

Skills needed are:
Knitting, purling, K2tog, SSK
Knitting in the round on DPNs and circular needles
Placing stitches on waste yarn
