The blanket is worked in one piece in a mosaic garter stitch with intarsia incorporated only on rows with contrasting colours.
The sample was made in Aran / 10 ply weight cotton yarn. Different yarn weights and fibres can be used. Using different fibres affects the size of the blanket and the amount of yarn needed.
