Pink Lemonade Kai yarn was the incentive to create this sundress, sandals and matching headband
Knit from two full 100g balls of Kai, this sundress is worked around the lace shell stitch and is a relatively easy knit to complete.
The cap ruffled sleeves are a fun way to add pizazz to the little miss’s new sundress and are EASY to work.
The pair of knit sandals are done in the Pink Lemonade Kai yarn as well and are sized to fit the 9 month old’s foot. They are a whiz to knit in moss stitch and are the perfect accessory to the sundress.
I also included the instructions to create the headband with a wee knit flower that tops off the set perfectly.
Easy to follow instructions (with photos) are included in the design and ir is sure to take you no time at all to make this set for your favourite little girl..
Moss stitch, pdf increases, lace pattern instructions, and buttonholes are the only techniques needed other than knitting and purling. EASY.
Easily done in King Cole Cherish DK, Melody DK, or Flash DK. Or Rico Baby Dream DK is suitable as well. Each of these yarns has a bright colourway and resembles Kai if it is not available to you.
