Pink Lotus shawl
The Pink Lotus Shawl is part of the Tibetan Euphony collection designed by Valentina Cosciani for mYak.
A romantic crescent shawl worked from the top down. The first section of the shawl is knit in garter stitch followed by a section of stripes in a contrasting colour. A sophisticated lace border is then added and accentuated by an additional striped section.
Finished Measurement:
Width: 200 cm – 78¾” along the top edge.
Depth: 52 cm – 20½” at the center.
Yarn:
mYak Baby Yak Lace:
First colour (FC) – 1 skein; Night Flower colorway used in sample.
Second colour (SC) – 1 skein; Lavender colorway used in sample.
Suggested Needles:
3.5 mm – US 4
5 mm – US 8 (optional, used for the final bind-off) with an 80 cm – 32” or longer cable.
Notions:
2 stitch markers
Tapestry needle and scissors
Pins and a tape measure for blocking
Gauge:
18 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm – 4” in garter stitch (after blocking)
