Pink Pashmak is a snug little cowl that is quick to knit in super bulky yarn. The pattern uses very simple lace and buttons - so there is no grafting or seaming.

The pattern can be easily adapted to create a longer cowl. Additional repeats of the lace pattern can be knitted to create a cowl of any length, or even a scarf. Instructions for modification are included in the pattern.

This design is best suited for yarns that are loosely spun. Soft, single ply yarns are ideal. Knitted at a slightly loose gauge, they will trap the warms and be a pleasure to wear.

The pattern incudes charts and full written instructions.

Pashmak, or Persian fairy floss is a sweet and surprising treat. Made with sesame seeds and plenty of sugar, it has the texture of yarn - but it is also delightfully tasty. And the name? Pashm-ak? Well, it means wool-like in Arabic.

Thanks to my test knitters on this project: lynnbeggs, fenlinka, justJnet and IamSta. You input definitely made this pattern better.
