“Pink Ribbon” - This pattern can be made in either DK or Worsted weight yarn, the yarn can be in one-colour or self-striping/multicolour. The ribbon is laced and also helps shape the sweater to any women’s body shape.
Skill level: Intermediate
Notes:
The body is made of front and back panels and sleeves. The sides are laced with ribbon (connected by ribbon in lacing style) from the underarm down to the end/beginning of the sweater. The sleeves are also laced with ribbon from the shoulders down.
Sizes are given for S = small, M = medium, L = large, XL = extra large. Size is given for S, but M, L and XL sizes are given in square brackets.
Sizing:
Length: 21.5 23.5, 25.5, 25.5”/ 55 60, 65, 65cm
Width across shoulders: 17 18, 19, 21”/ 43 45.5, 48, 53cm
Sleeve length: 19.5 21.5, 23.5”/ 50 55, 60, 60cm
Materials: 400 500, 600, 650g of DK or Worsted weight yarn, 6 meters of ribbon;
Needle size: 7 US (4.5mm)
Notions: knitting needles, sewing needle, stitch holder.
Tension: 14 sts and 20 rows to 4”(10cm) over stocking stitch.
