Wanting to create something for October’s National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I immediately thought of the iconic pink ribbon. So how to best use this universally recognized symbol? It seems that in this day and age of cell phones and constant texting, everyone loves a pair of warm, yet useful, fingerless gloves. Voila! These gloves take advantage of the stitch definition that “traveling twisted” stitches create, especially when highlighted against a reversed stockinette background. Here’s to finding a cure!
