The scarf is knit in garter stitch with a chain-stitch edge, imitating the texture of grosgrain ribbon. The scarf also features a keyhole, which keeps the scarf snugly in place (the keyhole can be left out if desired). The pattern is written for a bulky weight yarn, but it can easily be adapted to other weights by increasing or decreasing the number of stitches.
