The Pink Skies shawlette was designed specifically to use a sock set (a full skein and coordinating mini skein of sock/fingering weight yarn). I fell in love with the gorgeous colorways from Salty Blonde Fibers last winter and have been dreaming up sock set designs since. The bulk of Pink Skies is knit in super simple garter stitch in that sock yarn. The silky mohair sections were added to both give the shawlette a bit more length and to include a dash of dreaminess.
