Pinnal Headband
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
’Pinnal’ (pronounced Pin Null) is one of the words for a braid in my native language Tamil. It is a kind of sequel to my previous braided headband pattern “Jadai’ which is also available in Ravelry.
While Jadai was a three stranded braid, Pinnal is a five strand braid. The finished size in the sample is 21” but it is easy to increase the number of rows to get a larger size.
Gauge is not very important for this project. Personally I would love headbands to be in DK weight or worsted.
This project would require a small amount of yarn and one can use leftovers from stash.
Note: Please do give credit to the designer in case you happen to make it. Do not copy and distribute as your own.
