I love the Orenburg lace construction because the main section and border are worked at the same time - no stitches to pick up later or edges to be sewn on. This piece would also be wonderful worked in Habu’s new cashmere - N82.
This pattern includes a recipe for Parsnip Cakes with Quick Lemon Mayonnaise. (A much under-used vegetable, the parsnip.)
