Special Techniques
Lace, nupps.

In this pattern, I was inspired by Estonian lace and its use of nupps as textured, decorative accents.

For more information about Estonia and its lace traditions, I recommend checking out Knitted Lace of Estonia by Nancy Bush, or any of the books in the Haapsalu series.
