Skill Level: Intermediate
The techniques involved are basic knitting st, M1, Kfb.
This skirt is knitted from top down in rounds. All purl stitch in this pattern will be used as a guideline for picking up and knit the upper ruffle. The elastic is added to provide more support and easily to adjust or replace so that the skirt could last longer especially for growing kids.

Yarn: (sport weighted yarn) Weight Category 2
Cascade Ultra Pima Fine - Colonial Blue (3794) (1.75 oz /50 g; 136.7 yds/125 m)
Amount Required(approx.): size 12/18m: 208 yds (3 skeins); size 1/2: 356 yds (3 skeins); size 3/4: 450 yds (4 skeins); size 5/6: 481 yds (4 skeins); size 7/8: 532 yds (4 skeins); size 9/10: 548 yds (5 skeins); size 11/13: 604 yds (5 skeins); size XS: 685 yds (6 skeins); size S: 722 yds (6 skeins); size M: 830 yds (7 skeins); size L: 920 yds (7 skeins); size XL: 1078 yds (8 yds).
