Piper the Witch - Goth Doll
Piper is a talented witch who can perform many powerful spells, but her favorite magic is to change up her appearance by changing the color of her hair and clothes. Whatever colors you choose for your doll, I am sure Piper will be delighted!
Your purchase includes instructions on how to make the doll, her hat, her broom plus a bonus pattern for her cauldron is included as well!
Materials
• Worsted Weight Yarn
• 3mm hook (3.75mm for the hat)
• Two 18mm black 4-hole buttons
• Two 6mm black buttons
• Black Embroidery Floss
• Fiberfill
• ¼” Wooden dowel plus a tool to cut it (I use pruning shears)
• Tapestry needle, thin sewing needle, straight pins, safety pin, skewer for stuffing the doll, pencil
• Broom: Jute, string (or crochet thread), bamboo skewer and optional white glue and liquid starch
Size - Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished product will vary depending on the size of the yarn and hook you use. Made with the materials listed, the doll measures 8” (not including the hat which is about 4” tall).
Pattern Notes - The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help. Also feel free to contact me with any questions. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can.
