Pippilotta Socks
this is a simple sock recipe, worked from the ball of foot up to ankle, with afterthought toes and heels added after main body
of sock is made, so that they are REPLACEABLE!
this “recipe” style pattern can be worked with any size yarn and a compatible hook. you’ll want to use a size or two smaller hook for socks than you might typically use for a shawl or sweater, because you’ll want a dense and durable fabric for long-lasting socks. i suggest trying a first pair in a thicker yarn (DK or worsted) for boot socks or slippers to learn the techniques, and then moving on to sock/fingering for successive pairs.
sock will be custom crocheted to the maker’s foot, or to meet measurements. standard foot measurements can be found
