Even though this is fairly long, this bed runner grows pretty quickly because of the use of treble crochet (US double crochet). Lots of crocheters struggle to keep the side edges straight - remember to miss the stitch at the base of the turning chain at the beginning of the row and to make the final stitch of the row into the turning chain made on the row before - if in doubt count!
