Pips & Pastries Hat
CONSTRUCTION NOTES
Pip and Pastries Hat is knitted from the bottom-up starting at the brim with a gradient corrugated ribbing followed by a Latvian braid. Then the body and crown charts are worked finishing hat by pulling cut working yarn through remaining live stitches.
There are two versions. Sample a has 5 colors and sample b has 3 colors.
There are color charts included for both versions as well as charts with colors inverted (see p.6 and 7).
I have found this pattern makes for a denser sport weight hat that works well in the colder days of winter.
