This is a PDF crochet pattern for some really sweet Bunny and Chick hats! There are a variety of yarns that can be used for this pattern, I suggest the following:

For the chicks: Bernat Pipsqueak
For the bunny: Red Heart Buttercup

If you cannot find these yarns in the right colors, I do list other alternatives in the pattern itself. (Note: all photos with copyrights other than Jennifer Dougherty, AppleTree Photography, or Flom Designs and Photography show the yarn substitutes.)

The pattern itself is very easy but because of the yarns used, I would not rate this a beginner pattern. These yarns make it very difficult to see your stitches, so it is necessary to “feel” for each stitch. If you are an experienced crocheter, you will have no problem. The finished hats are unbelievably soft…I can’t stop touching them!!

Skill Level: Easy (could be Intermediate based on yarn chosen)
