This scarf uses 3 different colorways of variegated yarn and a simple slipped stitch pattern to create a mesmerizing blend of colors and texture. Don’t be fooled by the complex look of the fabric! Once you get going, it is an intuitive stitch pattern.

A note about needle size: The stitch pattern used creates a dense fabric. We find that using needles that are at least two sizes larger than what you would normally use for a yarn creates a more drapey fabric.

This pattern could easily be adapted to other yarn weights as well. Yardage, needle size and number of stitches to cast on may change.
