Inspired by a vintage Russian cross-stitch motif, the colorwork of the “Pique Tuque” evokes the domes of Russian Orthodox churches, ocean waves, and spring.
While simple enough for those new to colorwork, I promise there is plenty here to pique the interest of more experienced knitters. The pattern pops when knit in a darker, contrasting color to the main color, but feel free to explore and make this your own.
