Pirate Costume (hairpiece)
This pattern is for a fabric cap with attached hairpieces. It is made with multiple strands of i-cord “dreadlocks” and beads sewn to a piece of cloth, which is then tied on as a cap. Cap be made to fit any size head.
It specifies the Knifty Knitter yellow long loom, but the i-cords made be made on any large gauge loom.
Techniques:
- E-wrap
- I-cord
Supplies:
- 1 skein black chunky/bulky yarn
- 1 skein brown and black chunky/bulky yarn
- 1/4 yard fabric in red or a pirate theme print
- Yarn needle and thread
- Size # 13 glass beads, wooden beads, and pendants to attach to hairpiece/cap
