Pirate Ted Amigurumi Pattern

• Pirate Ted and his and accessories (hat and eye patch) are worked in several pieces, a majority of which are worked in the round.

• This project does not require a particular yarn weight - I used lightweight yarn (4-ply 100% cotton - Infinity Rose Hearts 8/4) and a 2.0 mm crochet hook to create the doll pictured.

Please refer to your yarn label to find the appropriate hook size for your chosen yarn - the size of your finished doll will differ depending on the weight of yarn used.

This pattern includes the following crochet techniques and stitches:

Working in the round, magic ring, chain, double crochet (UK), half treble crochet (UK), increase, decrease, invisible decrease (instructions provided), back loops only, front loops only, puff stitch (instructions provided), slip stitch, fasten off and colour changes.

You would need:

• Lightweight Yarn (less than 50g of each) in: Base colour (light brown), Muzzle colour (white), Wooden leg colour (dark brown), Shirt stripe colour 1 (red), Shirt stripe colour 2 (white), Shorts colour (dark grey), Hat / Eye Patch colour (dark grey)
• 2.00 mm hook (or hook size according to yarn label / weight)
• Toy Stuffing of your choice
• (Suggested) 6 mm Safety Eyes - can be embroidered if preferred
• Black / grey / white / red (optional) thread for details
• Stitch marker
• Large-eyed needle / Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Cosmetic Blush for decoration (optional)
