Knit one of these rascally pirates and you could find your treasure chest plundered! Children will love this motley crew consisting of a captain and two shipmates. One has an eye patch and the other has a leg with a stump and an arm with a hook. Both stump and hook are optional and can be omitted if child safety is an issue (details in pattern). These 20cm (8in) pirates are great fun to create and can be made to look fierce or friendly.

TWO STRAIGHT NEEDLES - All knitting is done on a pair of 3.25mm needles (US size 3).

YARN is double knitting (DK). (USA - light worsted, Australia - 8 ply).

BASIC KNITTING SKILLS REQUIRED: Cast on, cast off (bind off), knit, purl, k2tog, p2tog, kfb. The pattern is easy to follow with lots of coloured pictures to assist with every stage. All pattern rows are numbered.
