Piriri is a simple toe-up sock with garter ridge lines and afterthought heel. Directions are written for the magic loop method with circular needles. Video tutorial links are included.

YARN
Sport weight or light DK weight yarn

Main Color (MC): approx. 50-70 g
Contrasting Color (CC): approx. 10-20 g


MC: Tukuwool Sock (160 m / 175 yds per 50g, 80% Finnish Sheep Wool, 20% Nylon), shown in 8 Runo (light brown)
CC: mominoki yarn German Merino Light (340 m / 372 yds per 100 g, 100% virgin merino wool), shown in Pure White

NEEDLE
US 2½ / 3 mm 80 cm, one circular needle and one spare needle of same size with over 15 cm (option)
Adjust needle size to obtain gauge. Sample used 80 cm / 32” circular needle. If you don’t have a spare needle, you can work with working needle only.

Tapestry needle, smooth waste yarn

GAUGE
24 sts & 35 rnds = 10 cm/4” in stockinette st, blocked
NOTE: It is recommended that blocking gauge swatch if you use non-superwash wool.
