SKILLS USED
You should know how to crochet, read a crochet pattern, be comfortable with the basic stitches, know how to count stitches, know how to count rows, know how to work flat, know how to work in the round, and know basic sewing stitches. All other stitches and techniques are explained in the pattern.

SIZING
This pattern comes with instructions for 1 size pouch. The pouch is approximately 8 in 20 cm at its longest point and approximately 3.5 in 9.5 cm at its tallest point.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Juniper Moon Farm Zooey Spray
284 yds 257 m / 3.5 oz 100 g
(other suggested yarns include Hobbii Olivin, BC Garn Allino, or Cascade Yarns Pandamonium Multis, but most DK weight yarns should work).
You will also need a contrasting color for the stripes, and a dark color for the eyes.
Hook: C/2.75 mm crochet hook or any other hook needed to obtain the gauge
Notions: Stitch markers, darning needle, scissors, tape measure
Lining: 6 in 15 cm zipper, thread, small piece of fabric, sewing needle
Optional: beads

AMOUNT OF YARN NEEDED
115 yds 105 m / 1.4 oz 40 g for the main color
40 yds 35 m / 0.5 oz 15 g for the stripes
5 yds 4 m / 0.2 oz 2 g for the eyes
