A friend of mine asked me to design a hat for her Pit Bull. I asked for precise measurements of the doggie’s head, and used the given dimensions to create a paper mache replica of this type of dog’s head. After that, I began working on the design. It took me a few tries, but I’m happy to report that I’m pleased with the final result.

The finished hat is easy to pull over the head of a large dog, and it and features cute bunny ears that stand up on their own. This cozy dog hat is entirely seamless! This hat is functional, and will keep your beloved pet nice and warm. This pattern is worked both flat and in the round, and is super rewarding to work up. The instructions for this pattern are extra detailed and clear, so you can rest assured that there will be only smooth sailing as you coast through this super fun knitting project.

Size: Fits all dogs with a neck measurement of 17” around (where the collar falls)
