Notes: Pitaya is worked from the bottom up, in pieces. Although the front and back pieces are worked flat, a circular needle is recommended to accommodate the large number of stitches. The pieces are blocked and seamed, then stitches are picked up around the neckline to work a mitered garter stitch trim in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the armholes to work a continuous garter stitch trim in the round.
