Pitcairn is an open front vest. It is worked in an all-over slipped stitch pattern: relaxing and meditative, not a purl in sight, but with the right amount of interest to keep you entertained and delighted at the pattern you are making.

The garment is knit in a whim in luxurious 100% Romney lambswool from The Fibre Co

The fabric is gloriously soft and delicate after blocking, worked in the prettiest pink shade. It features and an optional belt and two pockets framed by a tiny moss stitch border. The button band is picked up along the edges and up to the collar. This garment is worked seamlessly from the bottom up.

Pitcairn es un chaleco abierto que se teje con un motivo de puntos deslizados, relajante y agradable, sin ni un sólo punto del revés aparte de los que lleva el elástico. Al tejerlo tiene un ritmo entretenido que te engancha totalmente, pero a la vez es uno de esos proyectos que puedes tejer cuando necesitas relajarte y no pensar.

La muestra está tejida con agujas del 4 mm, en la lujosa Lore (Romney lambswool 100%) de The Fibre Co. La textura que consigues es esponjosa, suave y delicada después del bloqueo.

Lleva un cinturón opcional, unos bolsillos muy sencillos de tejer y un borde que se recoge a lo largo de los bordes y por detrás de la nuca. Esta prenda se trabaja sin costuras de
abajo hacia arriba.
