Pitta Socks
This pattern forms part of a series of three socks patterns, inspired by the three Ayurvedic Doshas; Pitta, Vata and Kapha. The Pitta Sock is knitted in the round using fingering weight yarn (also known as 4ply in Australia), top down, with a slip stitch heel.

I have written the pattern using the single loop method, but if you prefer to use a set of double points, or like to create two-at-a-time, then of course, choose whatever you feel comfortable with.

Designed with a shortie cuff that sits just below the ankle, the Pitta Socks are perfect for wearing in warmer weather or casually with sneakers or running shoes. Choose to create your socks with either a contrast heel and toe, or kit your socks using just a single colour.
