These cute socks are knitted cuff down and use short row heel shaping. They’re a quick and easy knit, and suitable for beginners to sock knitting.

The basic pattern is available in 4 different sizes to fit ages 6 months , 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years.

Skills:
knitting with DPNs, knit, purl, slip stitch, k2tog (knit two together), ssk (slip two stitches, and knit together through back loops).

Yarn:
Approx. 25 - 50 grams (50 - 100 yards) of 8 ply wool in main colour, and approx. 10 - 25 grams (20 - 50 yards) in contrasting colour.

Needles:
One set of 4 DPNs size 3.75 mm (US 5)
