Pivoine means peony in french. It’s a feminine pullover characterized by an elegant lace panel at the front and cute ruffles on the shoulders. It’s worked seamlessly from the top-down with set in sleeves.

This sweater can be knitted in DK weight yarn or in a fingering weight yarn held double with lace mohair. It can be made with or without the ruffles.

Shown in size XS with 2¼’’/ 6 cm of positive ease at bust. Choose a size with 0 to 3’’ / 0 to 8 cm of positive ease at bust.
Bust circumerence of the finished garment: 33¼ (36½, 40, 44½, 48½) (52½, 56½, 60½, 64½)’’ / 85 (93, 102, 113, 123) (133, 144, 453, 164) cm.

Please note that sizes 4XL and 5XL have unfortunately not been tested because I could not find any tester. If you want to knit one of these sizes, please contact me. I will be happy to send you the pattern.

20 sts and 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4’’ in stockinette st with 4.5 mm / US 7 needles, after blocking.

Pivoine est un chandail féminin qui se caractérise par un élégant panneau de dentelle sur le devant et des volants aux épaules. Il se tricote du haut vers le bas, sans couture, avec des manches montées.

Il se tricote avec un fil de grosseur DK ou avec un fil « fingering » doublé d’un mohair. Il peut être réalisé avec ou sans volants.
