This hat sprung from a desire to try a pixie hat. I collected information about making a pointed hat and then just decided to wing it. The result was a supercute (well, at least in my own opinion!) head gear. The hat is knit entirely in the round, starting with a rib followed by a stockinette body. The purl stripes are optional, but they can be your friend if you
are on a stashbusting mission – pull those scraps out!
Please note that the yardage in the patterns is given for one color only, so if you add stripes you’ll need slightly less of the main color.
