This is a great beginner pattern for a newborn size knitted pixie bonnet with crocheted flowers. This pattern includes instructions for knitting the bonnet and crocheting and attaching the flowers using the basic elements of knitting and crocheting. It would be lovely choice as a gift. It would also make a beautiful photo prop.

The pattern requires U.S. Size 9 (5.5mm) knitting needles and a U.S. Size 8 (1.50mm) steel hook for the crocheted flowers.
