Presenting a crochet pattern for Pixie Sweater by Knittybae. Downloadable PDF crochet pattern made by alternating between basic crochet stitches and long mesh stitch. Made to measure design allows you to follow one presented size (M with very oversized fit) or customize sizing by your own measurements.

It’s made from bottom-up in one piece without sewing required! With this pattern you have two ribbing options that you can chose from: crocheted or knitted. The best way to show stripped effect in this sweater is by alternating between 2 yarns and 2 colors.

This pattern is provided in English and uses American crochet shorthand/abbreviations. Recommended Skill Level: Advanced Beginner and above. Pattern uses following crochet stitches: half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc) and double treble crochet (dtr). This document spans 25 pages and includes instructive images to further help you pursuit your goal result.

YARN RECOMMENDATIONS:

For non mesh rows I recommend using two colors of Fine (no. 2) or Light (no. 3) weigh yarn (two strands held together). You can also use Medium (no. 4) or Bulky (no. 5) weight yarn corresponding with 7 mm crochet hook.

For long mesh stitch I recommend using Lace (no. 0) or Super Fine (no. 1) weigh yarn. Best result you’ll get with mohair, or mohair like yarn.

(e.g. For green sweater I’ve used Alize Angora Real 40 in shades 507 Antique Green and 563 Dark Green.
For long mesh rows I’ve used hobbii’s Diablo in shade 21 Jade.)
