This is an intermediate pattern, worked in heavy weight wool yarn on size 10 ½ circular needles, and size 1 for inner ears. This pattern is worked in stockinette stitch, intarsia, I-cord, and short rows. The knit side will be the right side. This pattern uses 100 yards of heavy weight golden brown(br), 100 yards of heavy weight white(w), 30 yards heavy weight light brown, 6 yards heavy weight Silver Gray(Sg), 2 yards heavy weight Black(Bk) optional 15 yards of heavy weight red and 5 yards of heavy weight beige. Inner Ears are worked with 10 yards beige sport weight yarn. The finished project is then fulled. You will need a #16 embroidery needle or similar needle, and size 8 crochet hook. 16mm brown eyes. Heavy weight gauge- 3 st per inch /5 rows per inch. Gauge is not critical, but finished size may vary.
