Basic pattern information

• knit in the round
• uses k, p, ssk, k2tog, sl, p2tog
• worked top down
• pattern written for 5 dpn’s, however, an experienced sock knitter could easily use a method of their choosing, i.e. magic loop, 2 circulars.

Recommended yarn

The best pattern definition will be achieved with a solid color yarn or long repeat variegated yarn. Variegated yarns with short repeats will hide the pattern rather than showcase it.

Also, yarns with at least 2 ply are best. Single ply yarn will not give as hearty a sock and will therefore wear quickly.
