Pladda is a top-down, raglan sweater with an all-over
colour-work design. This was inspired by the idea of a cosy weekend in a cabin when the mornings and evenings are still chilly, and you want to be wrapped up in your favourite cosy blanket. The easy shape makes it versatile to wear whilst the graphic colour-work adds a cool and modern touch.

Needles: US 8 / 5 mm 16” / 40 cm and 24–40” / 60–100 cm circular needles and DPNs (for the colourwork), US 6 / 4 mm circular needles 16” / 40 cm (for the neckline ribbing) and DPNs (for sleeve ribbing).

Notions: Tapestry needle, 8 stitch markers (inc. 1 distinct BOR marker), waste yarn or stitch holders.

GAUGE
17 sts x 22 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 8 / 5 mm needles in Colourwork Patt, after blocking.

NOTES
The sweater is constructed top-down beginning with the collar and short rows worked in MC. The colourwork then begins along with raglan shaping. Sleeves have gentle decreases along the underarm and a slight balloon shape. Finally, the colourwork pattern is added to the short-rows section using duplicate stitch.
