Plaid Necktie
Despite how it looks, this is not done with Intarsia. Horizontal stripes are formed by changing the yarn color. Vertical stripes are added later by working a crochet slip stitch up a column of knit stitches.
Both English and Japanese versions are fully charted using standard knitting and/or crochet symbols. Japanese version available here.

Japanese size 3/0 crochet hook (2.3mm)

15g (62.6m) color 11

small amount colors 06 and 09

1 piece of elastic (1cm wide, 36cm long)
