I love Plaid! I would put it on everything! But just in case you only want a little bit of plaid…here’s the Plaid Patches hat.

This hat a brimmed newsboy-style with panels of solid color surrounded by panels of 4-color plaid. The fun, but tricky, part is the vertical striping which is why I would estimate the pattern to be for Intermediate skill level crocheters. You should only need one skein of Worsted Weight yarn with a small amount of 3 other colors to make the plaid.
