This top is knitted top-down, including the neck ribbing. The top can be made to any length you prefer; it will look just as good cropped, or on the hips.

You can see the design as a blank canvas. Once you understand the pattern, it is easy to customise it to add your own flair. As an example, there are three increase methods and there are two bottom edges to choose from and nothing stops you from creating your own.

It can be made for any body size from a small child to an adult male, using any yarn weight.

As this is a Measure & Make pattern, I cannot give you the required yarn quantities. The samples were made for a bust measurement of 105 cm, and the yarn usage was as follows:
• Fingering weight on 3 mm needles: 400 g
• Aran weight on 4.5 mm needles: 700 g
• Chunky weight on 6 mm needles: 800 g
