Plain or Fancy Pinafore Dress
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Here’s a simple dress that can be worn sleeveless in the summer if made with cotton, or with tights and a shirt as a jumper/pinafore in cold weather. It features seamless, circular bottom-up construction with a choice of two colorwork bands right above the ribbed hem. The bodice is ribbed and divided at the armholes and worked back and forth. There is a generous buttonhole placket in the back. A stretchy bindoff is used at the neck opening. Armholes can be done with the same stretchy bindoff (plain), or with a picot bindoff (fancy).
