This is a stitch that I “created” while just playing around one day. This is the true plaited rib stitch, which creates rows of woven braids; the simple version is the Plaited Rib Tunic. This is a more fitted version. The sweater is joined as you go, so it is knit mostly flat, and then joined in the round towards the top, which creates a zippered effect at the back. Seed side panels adds a flattering shape.
