There are no stitch counts or row by row instructions. This pattern is for a very simple cardigan made primarily from two rectangles. The first rectangle becomes the sleeves and shoulders. The second rectangle becomes the body. There is a little fill-in crochet under the arms to form an increase for the sleeves above the elbow, and to tie in the body to the arms and form the neck.
I did this in a variegated yarn as a planned pooling project to get the large plaid you see in the photos. However you can do this in any solid color. If you choose a variegated yarn and want to plan pool the cardigan you will have to determine the right size hook to get the sleeve length you need from the yarn you choose. The construction of this sweater is simple, however, I suggest some experience in planned pooling if you decide to go that route.
There are no stitch counts or row by row instruction. Since this is essentially two rectangles it can be altered to fit any body, or be any length. I am a plus sized gal, about a US woman’s size 28. This project took 7 skeins of variegated and one skein of solid colored yarn to make the sweater fit me. Mine is crocheted very losely with larger hooks. You will need to be able to adjust hook size and tension when attempting planned pooling or to adjust size.
