Socks are designed to be worn with 1.5-2.5 cm/ 0.5-1” negative ease at foot circumference.
To make the fit better knit a foot about 1 cm / 0.5 “ shorter.

100 cm/40” circular knitting needle for magic loop in sizes:

2.5 mm/ US 2
Adjust needle sizes as necessary to match the gauge.
