Plant Pot
A free version is also available.
Crochet a pot for your crocheted (or real!) plants! This planter is about 2 1/2 inches wide but it’s easy to make a custom size for any of your planting needs.
I used Marmalade from Just Yarn, with my E (3.5 mm) hook, for the planter itself.
And, I used 3 strands of Red Heart brand held together, in Black, Coffee, and Warm Brown, with my H (5 mm) hook, to make the patch of soil that goes on top. If you like, you can use a bulky yarn instead, but I think using the 3 different shades of brown together makes a more soil-like appearance than just using 1 yarn.
Although, if you’re making this for a real plant, you don’t need to make the soil patch.
In the video tutorial, I show you how to turn your planter into a hidden storage container, and how to add a crochet plant to the soil. You can use any crocheted plant pattern you like. In the video, I used a crocheted tulip pattern that you can also find in my store.
You can find the video tutorial at the link.
