El chal Plateresco está inspirado en las bóvedas nervadas o de crucería de estilo gótico isabelino de la Capilla Real de Granada. Estas bóvedas se caracterizan por estar reforzadas por dos o más nervios que se cruzan (de ahí las trenzas del chal) en la clave.

Se trata de un chal triangular asimétrico con un panel lateral de trenzas realizadas a través de aumentos y disminuciones, sin necesidad de cruzar puntos, y otro panel en punto bobo. Todo el chal está circundado por un borde a base de puntos retorcidos.

HILADO
Unos 800 m de cualquier hilado de grosor desde light fingering hasta DK.
En la muestra se han usado dos madejas de Boniqueta de OvejitaBe (100% merino superwash, 500 m/100 g) del color Midnight blue.

MATERIALES

• Agujas de 3,5 mm (o unas un poquito mayores a las necesarias para el tipo de hilado empleado).
• Marcador.

MEDIDAS FINALES
Dado que el chal es bastante personalizable, podrá tener las medidas que prefieras.
El de la muestra mide aproximadamente 200 cm x 100 cm.

The Plateresco shawl is inspired by the Elizabethan gothic style (plateresco) of the ribbed vaults and arches of the Capilla Real (Royal Chapel) in Granada, Spain. These vaults are characterised for being reinforced by two or more of these intersecting ribs (hence the cables of the shawl) in the key.

It is an asymmetrical triangular shawl with a side panel of cables, made with increases and decreases without the need to cross the stitches, and another panel in garter stitch. The entire shawl is encircled by an edging made from twisted stitches.

YARN
Around 800m of any weight yarn from light fingering to DK.
The sample shown used two skeins of Boniqueta from OvejitaBe (100% merino superwash, 500m/100g) in the color Midnight blue.

MATERIALS

• 3.5mm needles (or slightly larger than the suggested needles for the yarn used).
• Marker.

FINAL MEASUREMENTS
Given that this shawl is quite customisable, you can achieve the measurements that you prefer.
The sample shown measures 200 cm x 100 cm.

Lo scialle Plateresco si ispira all’omonimo stile gotico elisabettiano delle volte a crociera e degli archi della Cappella Reale di Granada, in Spagna. Queste volte si distinguono per la chiave rinforzata dall’intersezione di due o più costoloni (da qui le trecce nello scialle).

È uno scialle triangolare e asimmetrico, con un pannello laterale di trecce create con aumenti e diminuzioni (senza bisogno di incrociare le maglie) e un secondo pannello a maglia legaccio ed è rifinito da un bordo di maglie ritorte.

FILATO
Circa 800m di filato di qualunque spessore, dal light fingering al DK.
Per l’esempio mostrato sono state usate due matasse di Boniqueta OvejitaBe (100% merino superwash, 500m/100g) nel colore Midnight blue.

MATERIALI

• Ferri da 3.5mm (o di una misura leggermente più grande di quella suggerita per il filato scelto).
• Marcapunti.
