Materials needed:
100g ball mid-brown 8-ply yarn
25g Charcoal grey 8-ply yarn
3.5mm crochet hook
2 x 6mm black plastic beads and black sewing thread & needle
Light brown coloured felt and matching thread
Polyester stuffing/fibre fill
Wool needle –for assembling
Stitch marker

The yarns I most commonly use for my animals are: Panda Magnum 8-ply acrylic or Carnival Yarn 8-ply acrylic.

Completed platypus measurements are: 29cm long, if using the suggested hook & yarn sizes.
