This is a digital crochet pattern file (PDF) containing detailed step by step instructions with process pictures on how to make this cute platypus bookmark. The pattern is written in English, using US terms. If you have any questions you are always welcome to contact me and I’ll gladly help you.
SKILLS
To make this toy you need to have at least beginner crochet skills and be familiar with how to do basic stitches (magic ring, single crochet, chain, increase, invisible decrease, single crochet 2 stitches together). Some of the techniques such as single crochet 2 stitches together, color change and invisible decrease are explained in the pattern.
This bookmark should turn out to be around 10in/25cm long. Please note that the final result of your bookmark may look a little different from the one in the pictures since it depends on your skill level and materials.

dec – invisible decrease
ch – chain
flo – front loops only
blo – back loops only
dc – double crochet
sl – slip stitch
sc2tog – single crochet two stitches together
… – total number of stitches in a row
(…) x – repeat the fragment indicated number of times
