Valley Yarns Designer Series Play Date Cardigan uses easy knit and purl patterns to construct a fabric reminiscent of traditional fisherman’s ganseys using Valley Superwash. The body is knit in one piece to the armholes, then divided to work fronts and back. The sleeves are worked separately, and the ribbed shawl collar is a cozy finishing touch. Our Valley Yarns Valley Superwash is made from 100% extrafine merino wool, and it’s machine washable in cold water with a mild detergent. This worsted weight yarn is incredibly soft, an excellent choice for everything from afghans to baby projects, and comes in a wide range of fabulous colors.
